Darrell Hulisz
RPh, PharmD

Darrell HuliszDarrell Hulisz, RPh, PharmD is an Associate Professor of Family Medicine & Community Health in the School of Medicine at Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, OH. He also holds a clinical faculty appointment at Ohio Northern University, College of Pharmacy. Dr. Hulisz received his BS in Pharmacy from the University of Toledo & Doctor of Pharmacy from the Medical University of South Carolina. He also completed a HRSA federal fellowship in substance abuse.

Dr. Hulisz has published over 70 papers in the medical & pharmacy literature, has lectured extensively both locally & nationally & has served as an investigator in several clinical trials. He is a licensed pharmacist in Ohio & South Carolina & is certified in Medication Therapy Management (MTM) by the APhA.

Dr. Hulisz currently practices as a clinical pharmacy specialist with University Hospitals Medical Group, Family Medicine Residency Program, where he works in consultation with family physicians, both on inpatient & outpatient services. Darrell has received multiple awards in areas such as excellence in didactic teaching, excellence in precepting, humanitarian work, interprofessional education & outstanding achievement.

Dr. Hulisz serves on several committees, teaches resident physicians, medical, pharmacy & physician assistant students in didactic & clinical settings. His areas of expertise include management of chronic pain, cardiovascular disease & diabetes. Other areas of expertise include psychopharmacology, substance abuse, geriatrics, mentoring, patient advocacy & community outreach. Dr. Hulisz has devoted most of his career to the successful integration and collaboration of pharmacy & medical training in clinical settings.

Steven Kheloussi
PharmD, MBA

Steven KheloussiSteven Kheloussi, PharmD, MBA is a 2012 graduate of Wilkes University in Wilkes-Barre, PA. He has worked in academia since graduation, most recently as an Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice for Wilkes University, where his focus was on managed care. In April 2022, he transitioned to adjunct professor as he took on a new role in which he manages the formulary management team at a national health plan.

Dr. Kheloussi specializes in formulary management and managed care education and has extensive experience in medication therapy management, quality and population health, utilization management, and specialty trend management. He received the coveted AMCP National Experiential Preceptor of the Year Award in 2022 and the AMCP chapter for which he serves as the advisor won the National Chapter of the Year Award in 2020 and took second place in 2021. Dr. Kheloussi also won the Wilkes University Outstanding Advisor award in 2020.
